Jeremy is a fourth-generation Texan who grew up in Temple, Texas. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served on active duty for five years as a combat tracker K-9 handler. Jeremy and his military working dog, Fito, deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where they took part in several major military operations to clear Taliban strongholds.
After returning to civilian life, Jeremy received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University—Central Texas and a graduate degree from Texas Tech University. He received his law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. While in law school, Jeremy gained legal experience by interning for United States Magistrate Judge D. Gordon Bryant, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
After graduating from law school, Jeremy worked for a prestigious New Mexico law firm and specialized in oil and gas litigation before moving back home to Texas. Jeremy’s current practice focuses generally on commercial and insurance litigation, with a primary concentration in areas such as workers’ compensation, insurance coverage, premium fraud, and commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice in Texas and New Mexico.
Outside of his legal practice, Jeremy enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the Texas countryside with his pups.
